Milking The Moon For Conversions

Conversions come from Credits that you earn in so many easy ways in 21stCentrurySurf. You really do not have to milk the moon for conversions when the solution to these problems is so easy.

EASY? Yes! The problem is …

hit and miss surfing
no consistency in numbers
poor advertising
lack of advertising
Do not understand progressive surfing
Do not take advantage of Powa-Surf

Some of the more active members have learned that 50 sites clicked per day is getting them both banner and text impressions added to their accounts.

Progressive happens for these people who surf daily. Eventually your progressive search might match mine. This is what I have earned by surfing daily … warriorlady credited 1.692 credit(s)! That’s per click!

If I miss a day, I go back to the start. Each membership level has a starting point that builds according to your surf consistency.

Now a bit of an aid here can be Powa-surfing. When it is on, your normal surf ratios virtually double. By the end of a session, you can build up a nice stash of credits. The next day when you start to surf, your credit awards will be higher but NOT the total you earned during powa-surf.

On the credit bar, you will see different words that if you earn each letter while surfing , earns you more credits. P R O M O N E Y is currently on mine.

One more surfing bonus is paid out behind the scenes. Depending on the amount of credits you surf, you can be chosen to receive banner and text impressions and if you surf enough, you will see your credit totals go up.

Five times per week, on a daily basis, the surf totals of the day before are gathered and the winners chosen. Are you watching your stats? You could be a winner.

The biggest benefit from daily surfing, is that your advertisements reach a larger market of viewers. Now that is where higher conversion rates can take place.

Run some tests on what you have learned here. Keep a few records consistently and see exactly how you can benefit from your surfing.

Boring? Not on your life! It is all about successful advertising so spend your surfing time learning what you can.

The Value of Online Company Policies

What are you doing online? Do you hop and skip around looking for the next best opportunity and never give the companies you join a fair look?

There are companies then there are companies
It is understandable that if a company you join to test the waters is a sham or a front for some high-end product you are not interested in, then moving on is a forward move on your part. Conditional on the fact that you unsubscribe from this not-for-you program.

As a serious marketer yourself, you are looking for like-minded people who want what you have to offer. Hanging on to a bad choice is not only misleading to the company but to the very audience you are looking to attract.

How? Your membership will show up somewhere. Your sponsor will know and perhaps talk about you or your lack of actions, to other members as to what not to do when you join. Search engines might even pick up a page you use.

You’ve heard people say they joined so-and-so in program x and never heard a word from them after that. As a sponsor? You are joking. They just aren’t available. Don’t let those tags be you they are referring to.

Less is More
Keep your marketing list clean. Know what you want and go for it. Do not hang on for friendship sake. That is not professional from any point of view.

Focus on two or three companies you really want to make successful, then look at the other opportunities, like Traffic Exchanges, hosting companies and mutual resources you would want to offer to your subscribers to help them follow in your footsteps.

TOS to TOSS
The company policies can be found in their TOS – (Terms Of Service) and you should be reading them in order to create your own TOS of personal professional marketing by your actions, support and working your opportunities into the TOS of the involved programs you use.

Otherwise you may be setting yourself up to become ‘tossed’ by the very prospects you are looking for who only want to deal with people they can know as clean, like for their perspective and trust for their recommendations.

A Word From Your ISP …

The battle between Silicon Valley and Hollywood took a stunning twist as U.S. lawmakers ‘stopped’ the SOPA – Stop Online Piracy ACT

The bills known as PIPA in the Senate and SOPA in the House, are aimed at curbing access to overseas websites that traffic in pirated content and counterfeit products, such as movies and music.

The unfortunate aspect of these bills, would be the vulnerability of businesses on the Internet to litigation. Where would they draw the line between legal activity and free speech vs the claws of such laws?

Perhaps the biggest issue here is politicians creating laws that would harm the very people they would be out to protect. Their lack of knowledge about how the net works was not in their favor in garnering support.

Look out for ACTA~
It ain’t over till its over folks and this battle already has tweaks that will take your breath away.

ACTA -the International Anti-counterfeiting Trade Agreement often considered more a Treaty, was signed on October 1, 2011 by President Obama, effectively ratifying it on behalf of the States.

What is interesting here, is the Congress, who normally have to give their support before the President can sign, were by-passed. This treaty is not a law, nor is it a bill or an act like SOPA or PIPA that can be followed or broken by a person. Only a country can break the treaty.

How do you arrest a country? Underneath the complexity of this ‘treaty’ is the pressure that would be put on ISPs to monitor the use of the Internet preventing the distribution of unauthorized material.

The bottom line is ACTA provides governments, world wide, a kind of support mechanism should they allow rights holders to seek personal data from ISPs – ‘allow‘ is a big word that bandies ‘must’ and ‘shall’ as government excuses to do so.

Are we back at SOPA and PIPA without having to make them laws? Does ACTA open doors on copyright infringement a lot deeper with a broader range infringement of yours and my privacy rights or our rights to ‘fair use‘ of copyright materials?

Whatever the case, don’t close the books on piracy laws or the possibility you can continue to pirate music and movies at will.

There is a comeuppance in store for all who do this and you may not appreciate the consequences anymore than you appreciate the attempts to reign you in under malformed law.

However you look at this situation, there is trouble ahead for ISPs and users.

Are You Hearing That Buzz

It will become a dull roar as those who fail to heed bemoan the lost opportunity to protect their rights on a FREE Internet unencumbered by interfering governments with their own agenda.

The battle rages on between Silicon Valley and the entertainment group championed by Rupert Murdock. Critics of this proposed law say it is a ‘blunderbuss‘ and amounts to “web censorship.”

The veiled reason for these laws is PIRACY! That means big names are complaining you are robbing them blind. They do have the right to turn to Government for protection. And these companies will not doubt be able to get what they want before you and I as the little people ever will.

Black Hat piracy is big business. That is one side of the coin that does need addressing but not at the expense of you and me. Per usual, American Congress want Governments to step in to save you and me.

So they say.

I say hogwash!

Think gun control. Think Drugs and alcohol abuse laws. Think who those laws affected and who they did not. Now those were laws that were needed but they did not do the job any better than this one will.

These SOPA- style laws are in effect in Iran and China and other mid-eastern countries.

These are the same laws that decide if we can even talk to our friends in these countries. Now they want to introduce them on this side of the ocean? Can Google afford to become a pawn in deciding who it can do business with?

What do you think about these new laws? Is your congressman or congresswoman on top of what is coming down? Will they work for you if you write to them? Are you for or against this type of law?

There are places where you can sign petitions for or against. Do so wisely.

Read up on them NOW as time is of the essence for you to make an informed decision.

Two things come to mind. George Orwell and 1984. George was out by a few years but George saw the writing on the wall. The other thing is McCarthyism – what a terrible time in history that was. Is there a new fanatic out there trying to fill his shoes? Are we all in for another bout of laws based on fear mongering?

Stepping out when you feel powerless

When you first came online, what was your goal? It probably wasn’t so much a goal as a far off dream?

As humans, we are needy creatures. We need to feel loved, to love and acceptance is a must or we fade into the woodwork of life.

Striking out in a cold world like the Internet, does not make a lot of people feel any form of comfort. Who will see me, who will approve, who will laugh at me considering my attempts pure vanity ?

It is then the greatest mistake is made. To hide our deepest feelings, to be afraid, will be our downfall, why we will fail rather than succeed.

A young man pleads with society to give him their Candian Tire dollars. He is a singer and a good one. Where ever he plays he wins the heart of his listeners. He knows he is good but he needs help. If he can publish one album he will have created his brass ring. But he needs you to help him.

Will he succeed? What do you think?

Stepping out when you feel powerless. Speaking up rather than hiding the very reasons you need to succeed. Will these reasons make you stronger? More open to opportunity? Will you finally feel good enough to be deservant of success and go get it?

You will never know if you do not give it a try!

You Need Plugins To View This Page

When I am surfing and the message across the top tells me I need two plugins to view the media on this page, I smile. I do not need to hear screeching media on a page in a Traffic Exchange.

The medium is the message you know, and the medium for your darned loud, distracting, ear-splitting videos is on your web page!

Here’s the thing I wonder about.

Are you afraid your glorious web site will not attract enough visitors? Maybe you need to be working on that issue before this next possibility? Do you think that exposure to a larger audience, like TE viewers will give you a better chance to gain conversions?

Gotta ask. Duh! What makes you think the average 10 second view will even get the shell-shocked viewer with ears on to the message? Your choice of music kills more than 10 seconds.

Big mistake huh?

That click is darned near as good as a delete button! Now the next time your site comes up – wahmmo!!! Tons of noise complaints will go in and you are history.

Nice conversion tactic huh? Try your website. It might give the viewer half a chance to turn on the sound if they want to hear the message, check you out and darn, they might sign up.

Hello Have We Met

If you were doing cold calling in an MLM program, I could readily understand your reticence. It can be frustrating, and certainly no fun to have someone slam down the receiver in your ear. Ask ‘Who? How do I know you?’ or out or always in the shower when you call?

It’s like being the uninvited guest at a dinner party.

BUT you are NOT doing cold calling in our programs, You are simply using email to make a warm connection with a new prospect. You can. It is more efficient but if it bothers you then TIMELY email is the next best action.

So why is it like pulling teeth to get people who want to make an income online to connect with the very people who will help them create that opportunity?

Some marketers do not even send a welcome mail, leaving that action to the company as being enough. It’s important to tell them who you are; that you are happy they want to join you.

You have a common grounds to discuss – the program they signed up to join. Some people will join anything and everything they see. Others are attracted and take the initial action but never follow through. Then there is the diamond who said ‘hey, you don’t care to connect, I don’t care to be a part of what you are doing.’

The LCP or splash pages attracting new prospects may be company pages. So there is an important missing step between that intial action and relating to you as their sponsor.

It should come as no surprise that prospects need to feel safe in taking that final step to confirm. Thus The most important personal thing your personal mail will do is give them a reason to hit that confirmation link.

Hocus Pocus Focus

Gremlins at work? No, just too much focus. Is there such a thing? You be the judge.

I was doing Admin work. Notifying one gentleman that according to our TOS, his blog had to be in English. Since it was not, I had to refuse it.

I got to where it was time to do the send. That was when my focus hailed the interrupt and instead of entering his user ID I hit the send. 198 members got a copy.

If he does not read his mail, then if his sponsor was one of the receivers, I am sure they will give him a heads up. For the rest of the receivers, there is a major tip within the admin mail send.

The TOS is clear. Your web pages MUST be in English. So, I know your people did not get this mail. Think the TOS/English point might be worth sharing with them?
